Brickyard Beach Clean Up

Brickyard Beach in San Rafael is a special space to the surrounding community of Peacock Gap. Many people walk their dogs there, families go for walks, and often you will see people kite surfing or paddle boarding. A local High School student from San Domenico saw a need to help beautify the beach for the community by organizing a beach cleanup day. When Ross Campbell, our Materials Division Manager at San Rafael Rock Quarry received the call, he quickly responded in support of this student’s mission of doing a beach cleanup with the students. Last week, a group of San Domenico students, along with Dutra’s Ross Campbell, met at Brickyard Beach to put their ideas into action. Thank you to the San Domenico students for partnering with Dutra and San Rafael Rock Quarry to make this beach cleanup day happen.
